Maldives 1MLD Containerized Seawater RO Desalination System

Project Overview

Location: Maldives
Capacity: 1,000 m³/day (daily 1000tons)
Application: Drinking Water & Domestic Use for Hotels, and Local Communities, Island Resorts, Construction site

QT Enviro-Tech successfully delivered a turnkey containerized seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) system in the Maldives, ensuring a reliable and sustainable freshwater supply for an island resort and nearby residential communities.

Housed in a single standard container, the system integrates all key components, including pre-treatment and RO modules—into a compact, transport-friendly design. With a daily capacity of up to daily production 1 million liters (1000m3/day), and energy consumption as low as 2.5 kWh/m³, this modular solution is ideal for hotels, resorts, and remote marine environments.

Project Highlights

  • All-in-One Containerized Design: Minimizes civil work, speeds up on-site installation

  • Energy Efficient: Power consumption as low as 2.5 kWh per cubic meter

  • High Output: From 200 up to 2,000 m³/day of clean, potable drinking water

  • Target Applications: Hotels, resorts, island communities, and daily residential use

  • On-Site Engineer Support: Professional guidance for installation and commissioning
