Notes:

1) If feed water salinity is higher, recovery rate might be lowered and 2nd pass RO might be needed, contact us for more details.

2) If feed water turbidity /Oil and grease is higher than the above specifications, QT will provide extra pretreatment, contact us for more details.

3) If the source water is natural seawater, the produced drinking water shall meet the WHO Guidelines for Drinking Water quality, 4th edition, 2012.

Benefits

lFast-build I: save more than 50% total building time (vs traditional system)

lFast-build II: containerized design, save building construction

lFast-build III: fast-build water tank, save concrete water tank construction

lRO Packaged solution: provide water intake recommendation, desalination & remineralization solution, water distribution pump station.

lPlug & Play: use modular design, add 4 containers for another 5,000 m3/day production.

Container Desalination

lCost saving: save >60% installation cost, >30% civil work cost (vs traditional system).

Container Desalination

lStability and reliability: 30 years of experience in seawater desalination.

lLong service life I: well-known brands, non-corrosive super duplex steel for pumps, energy recovery devices and high pressure piping, UPVC/HDPE for piping, and the heavy-duty marine paint is used for frame and  container.

lLong service life II: Durable UF membrane keep the safety of RO high-pressure pumps, energy recovery devices and RO membranes, extend the life of them.

lLow energy consumption: using high-efficiency low pressure pumps (>80%), high-efficiency high pressure pump (>90%), high-efficiency energy recovery device (>95%) and low energy-consumption RO membrane (>5% lower).

lEasy operation: upper computer control, cloud monitoring.

Desalination Process

The desalination process is based on Ultra filtration (UF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology.

The process starts by filtering particles & bacteria from feed water  through UF membrane,  then the filtrate enter RO feed tank. UF filtrate is used as source for backwashing UF stack. Other pretreatment process like DAF/Clarifier/multi-media filter is available on request.

UF filtrate is pumped to RO high-pressure pump, and the fresh water is pressurized out through the membrane and sent to RO product tank, while concentrated water is discharged after energy recovering by energy recovery device. RO product water is used as source for flushing RO stack.

RO product water is then sent to remineralization system (calcite filter) to add Calcium and bicarbonate to meet drinking water standard.
